Laney is ONE!

   So, I've been meaning to start this blog for a whole year now and I just haven't found the time or found a good starting place.  That is until now - I think today is the perfect day!  

Today is my sweet Laney's first birthday!  I get really emotional thinking back over the past year.  It has been hard, wonderful, tiring, sweet, new, and oh so joyful!  I cannot thank God enough for the gift of motherhood.  There's really no way to describe it and all that goes along with it.  Just ask our play group from church - how is it that we can get together every week and always have more baby stuff to talk about? :) I'm still amazed that God knitted Laney together in my womb and that he has entrusted her to our care.  

I am so thankful for Laney and the love that I feel for her.  She is happy, independent, loving, tenderhearted, very attentive to detail, talkative, and has a big smile with the cutest dimples ever!  She has taught me many things already and I look forward to all God has in store for us in the future.  I hope to share some of the many blessings and fun family times on this blog.  I can't promise it will always be up to date - but I will try my best.
